Working at the British Museum

Last week I did an internship with the British Museum. Here are a few of the illustrations I came up with.

So I went to India

Here are a few picture from my recent travels to India. The trip included teaching in a school for a week, climbing 3300 steps on a pilgrimage and eating with the local. It was an amazing experience and I urge everyone to visit somewhere like this in their life, tis a bit of an eye opener!

Birmingham Zine Festival

I am going to be taking part in a postcard mail art exhibition at the Birmingham Zine Festival. At the end of the exhibition, all of the postcard will be randomly 'swapped' and I will receive someone else's original artwork in the mail for me to keep. Thought it sounded like abit of fun so here is my entry and hopefully I can pop along and see all the postcards together. 

So whats next ....

Soooo I have finished my degree, here is a pic of my final exhibition. Now I must decide what to do next.......I haven't been very proactive with Illustrationess since I finished but starting from today I have decided that I will be as I do kinda miss it. So wish me luck and lets see what happens :)

Not really known what to do this week so ive been doing random illustration for no reason and its been kind of nice, here is one of them.

So we didnt go to New York this week with uni. All to do with the BA strikes and the volcanic ash, it was all against us! Including the fact that it was the 13th trip! So I have decided to make the most of this week and the first thing on my list was to redo my website. Here it is, hope you enjoy!

Environments Jigsaw

This is yet to be made into a jigsaw final. The idea is that there will be other jigsaws of different environments with pieces missing and a child will have to fit the right elements into the correct environments, hopefully teaching them about the different environments.

For 'Project X' I had to create 4 weather captions representing different types of weather to be shown on a children's news programme
